ECX Ruckus 4X4. Hey guys. This is my first post here. I'm a newbie again. Did a lot of RC as a Kid. But we have come a long way since then. I am having an issue with the main drive shaft in my Ruckus. Seems the main drive shaft is rubbing the steering arm. First one rubbed till it broke. I didn't realize what the issue was until I installed the new shaft, then ran the truck. Upon inspection after the first run I found the shaft rubbed in the same place. Anyone else having this issue?

First off.. I'd switch to the traxxas 4x4 6852x driveshafts. Much stronger, need a bit of modding to get them on - plenty of YouTube videos... but their 100% worth it. ECX driveshafts are subpar to say the least... and I've tried metal driveshafts, too much weight and are pretty pricey. The traxxas ones are the way to go, 100%.

Next you need to make sure you dont have any stupid little stones that always jam up inside the a-arms on the ECX vehicles... they have a stupid little cup design right at the castor block that constantly jams up with everything. Switch to RPM arms for a more conventional and trouble free design. Also tough as nails aswell.
