Ecx ruckus 1/10: wheels don’t move with resistance

had this happen to me. if its not the slipper clutch it could be one of the rear axles has let go inside. To check this. you need to hold the spur gear still and turn both wheels by hand, one will slip if this is the case

    Servo saver delete

Have the RPM servo saver delete in 3 of our rc's. The fourth was fine until recently. I went cheap this time and CA'd the servo saver, does the same job as the rpm one and cost $0. Just had to make sure it was dry before installing and so far so good.

New to the hobby. Second time breaking this piece in a week. Any suggestions? Is there a metal replacement?

Same issue on 2 out of 4 of our cars, Hinge pins too short was my diagnosis as well. Made some longer pins havent had it happen again since. 2-3mm longer is all that is needed.

Get a chair, this may be a long one. The smoother the surface the higher you can go on the gearing without...

    Motor swap

Higher turns= slower more torquey motor Lower turns = faster less torquey motor. Gearing is the key. You can gear a 35t motor to go as fast as a 20t. So if you want to go faster without too much cost, changing to a higher tooth count on the pinion will achieve it, but you loose off the line...

    2wd torment help?

I have had this issue a couple of times. You will find that the axle that doesn't turn when you hold it, is stripped out inside. The metal has come away from the plastic. You can't see it, and if you take the axle out it will seem fine. If you take the gear cover off, hold the spur and turn...

RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator Install/ Review on Amp MT

That is what i am saying. My point exactly. The plastic servo horn will strip before any damage is done. At least it has for our trucks. But as he says, the steering arms are acting as his servo saver so all good
