Old topic, but I'm sure all of us with a Revenge need to know what other bodies fit the Revenge. There's still a healthy supply of all other parts, but no bodies. Has anyone tried something else yet?

Caster block, I believe is what you broke. Yeh, if traxxas was known for one thing, it would be durability.

If you want something that doesn't break, buy a Traxxas Slash. I've had a 4x4 Slash for a long time now, and it takes a lot to break it. I can't speak for the HPI trucks, as I've never owned an HPI. I had issues with my ECX Torment 4x4 too. The Slash is a better vehicle when it comes to durability.

Curious where you got the info about the firmware. It says right on their website that the esc will handle 4s, but not the motor. Sooo, I'm guessing you got the wrong motor, got it too hot, there could be a ton of variables here. Even looking at the esc's through Losi's name they say 4s. So I've...

Not really when you figure in the prices. The Associated and Losi cars are hundreds more. I run mine at out local track, and it's easily the most durable car I own, which says a lot. You also need to look at it as an entry level 1/8 car, which is what it is, just like most of ECX's vehicles.

I know it's kind of a niche vehicle, but I'm surprised there aren't more threads on it. I have two, and they've turned out to be great vehicles, and tougher than ECX's normal offerings. If you're debating, get it. You can't go wrong for the $350 price.

@stik I got one recently, and the esc *should* take 4 or 5s I believe, but the motor is only rated for 3s. Not sure why you're having issues with 4s, it should work. What I've read on the net, and on the instructions show that to be true. I will add thought, that it's stupid fast on 3s, maybe...

The Revenge is a frickin blast, and stupid durable. Fun fact, ecx bought the rights to XTM's 8th scale cars, and used one for the front of the exc, and another for the rear. Tha Rail was one of the two. If you can fins old stock of XTM parts, so still fit the ECX. I will add that the car is...
