Back in my nitro years. We just used to use balloons for all of our electronics. Then zip tie the end close. I've never had an issue with this way. But also never ran thru ponds n lakes. A few puddles and wet grass. Works just fine

For about $30 Hot Racing makes an aluminium steering kit. (bellcrank) it can be found on eBay very easily. I have it in my amp. Also with a metal gear high torque servo. http://www.ebay.com/itm/272437083172

On some ESC you can upgrade the fan to a 12volt fan. that will allow you to be able to run a 3s lipo. Reference your model. And you'll know if it is able to upgrade I just looked this up. You can not run a 3s. Max voltage for that esc is 9.6. Anything more it will burn up.

I have to agree 100% with this. that's why my amp will go back to stockish. And leave the 3s Lipos to my 4WD trucks lol My amp will Probly be a dust collector. N only used when my friends who don't know anything about rcs come over. Haha

I'll be the Downer Don here. From personal experience I wouldn't recommend a brushless system or Lipos in the amp. I've ran SkyRc 2650kv brushless system in my amp on 3s Lipos. It's way to over powered. Even with program card taking all power out of the motor. It will do back flips at any speed...

Update I have installed the 2.8 trencher 30series wheel n tires. Haven't gotten much run time on them yet to realy give my review on how well the do. Also installed this sensored speed meter. I have not ran the truck since adding this. But did turn it all on. And programmed it to mph.

So I'm running the Hexfly 3200 30c 2s lipo that came with my redcat blackout Xte pro. Great battery so far. But takes over an hour to balance charge it. Even on my SkyRC B6 charger. If I had to buy this battery I wouldn't. As the price of these are thro the roof. When you can get a venom battery...
