Can anyone tell me what this part is called so I can buy a replacement?

You're welcome, and yes, those are the correct parts.

Can anyone tell me what this part is called so I can buy a replacement?

Have a look at the RPM part description on their website. I think it mentions that the pins are more secure with their arms. I got the new replacement mount ECX part and RPM arms and have not lost a pin since.

Are you talking about the rear suspension pins popping out? I a replacement stock rear mount and the RPM rear arms and have not had any problems.

    1/18 Torment NiHM to Lipo

UPDATE: The 2200mAh 2s lipo (Gens Ace) really made the Roost zippy! I just had to cut the little plastic slats off of the battery tray door to make it fit. It's a tight fit, but it works fine. Also, the run time is plenty long at more than double the mAh of the stock NiMh pack...

    ECX Roost DB Unpainted Panels

Hi folks, Anyone know where I might find unpainted lexan body panels for my 1/18 ECX Roost? Cheers! MP

    1/18 Torment NiHM to Lipo

Thanks for the thread. I'm gonna run my 1/18 Roost on 2s lipo today. I'll get a lipo alarm for the future, but I should be fine if I am aware of it and don't run it too long.

    Dead Kickflips

Thanks again. I hope it will be fun enough with the stock electronics. The only changes I want to make straight away are bearings at the wheels and different tires. Other than that, I plan to run it stock until it breaks.

Need some help on the AMP MT 1/10 2WD

I would advise paying a little more and buying authentic connectors. Also, pay close attention to position when soldering those Traxxas connectors on correctly, to get the metal tabs to sit nicely into the plastic ends.

Need some help on the AMP MT 1/10 2WD

I am very pleased with our Amp MT kit that I have converted to a brushless DB. I run it on 3s, but 2s is plenty fun. I run the drive shafts from a Traxxas Slash 2wd, which needed minor mod to work, but seem stronger. I did not break the stock though. Same deal with the trans gears and spur...

    Dead Kickflips

Thank you, Stephen! I am sure that info will come in handy. The only mod I will do straight away is to add sealed bearings at the wheels. Other than that, I'm gonna see how long the stock electrics can handle a 2s lipo. When they die, I'll try a mild brushless system, probably a 30A Hobbywing combo.

    Dead Kickflips

I'll still do what I can to get the wee Kickflips running for sure. I'm going to solder some JST connectors onto the boards tomorrow so I can try some 1s drone batts I have, 260mAh so should give lots of run time if I can get em to work. I also have one of the 3 TXs apart since the spring for...

    Dead Kickflips

UPDATE! Horizon Hobby has proven to be the best in the biz when it comes to customer service, yet again. I emailed them asking for advice to troubleshoot the used ebay Kickflips I bought from a private seller for VERY cheap. They replied that I should dispose of the Kickflips and will just send...

    Dead Kickflips

Happy New Year ECX fans! Anyone here who can help me troubleshoot some wee Kickflips and Beatbox models? There is power to the TX, but there doesn't seem to be power in the cars. I'll try different batts, but I figured there might be someone here who has gone thru this and might be able to save...

Upgrading ECX Amp to brushless -worth it?

It will get run, and I will keep it because I've made it my own, but it will not get run as often, nor will I spend on upgrades for it, like I will my 4x4 RCs. Also, ECX abandoned it's overseas customers.

    ECX1092 (Rear Suspension Mount) Upgrade

Honestly, between the in-store only BS, and the fact that I enjoy 4x4 bashers so much more now, the Amp will likely not see a lot of run time. The only reason I'm going to hold onto it is because I made it over to look like the Tamiya Falcon I had as a kid. I will fix it so it is ready to run...

Upgrading ECX Amp to brushless -worth it?

No, in my opinion. I have upgraded my Amp to brushless, and I love it. However, now that I have experienced bashing and jumping with 4x4 RCs, I have all but lost interest in my 2wd kits. I say keep it brushed and save up for a nice 4x4 basher, unless you have an opportunity to race it.

    ECX1092 (Rear Suspension Mount) Upgrade

Do you use that rear tower for an Amp, Circuit or Ruckus? Does it solve the weak suspension mount issue? Thanks!

    ECX1092 (Rear Suspension Mount) Upgrade

Yes Jeb, I've ordered a stock plastic replacement, and hope I won't have to get more. I'm going to see if some DIY mods + the RPM rear arms will be enough to keep it from busting.

    ECX1092 (Rear Suspension Mount) Upgrade

I don't think that part will do it. I need the bit that holds the rear hinge pins. I haven't found it in aluminum.

    ECX1092 (Rear Suspension Mount) Upgrade

Thanks Jeb, I ordered the RPM rear Circuit arms, and it sounds like they use a similar system to hold in the hinge pins. We'll see. Also, let me know if you have an aluminum rear suspension mount for sale. MP
