1/18 Torment with metal gears ⚙️

I want to say it's the slipper as I know even all the way tight it still slips. I had nothing but trouble with the slipper in mine and I ended up modifying a Losi Mini 8 slipper to fit.
THANK YOU slick2500!
That was the problem, took a bit for me to get the parts, but I followed your lead with the Losi Mini 8 slipper and all is good now. I sure am glad I found your posts, ECX should have hired you for their 4wd department!!!! 😃

@slick2500
Well Slick, the truck was running just terrific since my last post, keepin up with my m.e.r.v., mini slash and almost kept up with my ken block 1/16.
But then i had the EXACT SAME ISSUE! The rear axles just lost power AGAIN!
This time it wasn't so easy to figure out but I got very lucky and noticed the right rear stub axle was spinning inside it's yoke!!!!
I drilled through the plastic yoke and through the stub axle inside. (i believe the stub is held firm with a six sided end like a nut inside the plastic yoke and this seperated and spun itself free). I then squeezed some epoxy inside the hole and inserted a pin i cut from a thin steel rod i picked up at Hobbytown to use for custom sway bars. So now it's reinforced like traxxas stub/yokes are. It worked! So even though they say "if it ain't broke dont fix it" i went about doing the same to the left rear stub/yoke. I left the front stubs/yokes alone though.
It's up and running again. I drive it fairly regularly, every weekend its the first rc on our local outdoor dirt track (McDuff Park, VA). I drive it around while field checking the track and resetting the PVC drain pipe track bumpers Someone always has a car break so i let them use it while I'm there, or i see a kid wishing they had an rc so i give them instructions and set them loose, so it gets a LOT of abuse and just keeps on keepin on!
Can't thank you enough, Can't stand to see an RC sitting without a fix!
(Much like a Vaterra Glamis Fear i got in a trade with no spur! Similar fix, I used a drill to make a hole into the spur gear shaft, very very hard metal shaft btw, to add a pin so i could use a traxxas slipper clutch and its back on the road again!)
