Picked up a used display model from my LHS and started tinkering. I tried a 8t 80 pitch slot car pinion to slow it down and add torque, but it was the wrong pitch and chewed up the spur. I dug through my junk box and found a 12t pinion off a servo that was considerably smaller. That helped with torque, but not quite where I want it. I hear the losi micro 10 has an 8t pinion that will work. I also swapped the motor wires which seemed to give it a better throttle range. Anyhow, the body swap came out good and was a fun project. Kind of just a functioning model with a full interior.
