Hello,

This will be a place for me to build a log for my ECXAmp MT build and to be a refuge to ask/answer any relevant questions regarding the progress of my build.

&
So, as I said I have an Amp MT and have heard that the Traxxas Slash alloy shafts work in the rear of the Amp MT; I was wondering if there is a particular model of this I am to look for to work in the rear end of the Amp MT?

Thank you,

Hey man I pretty much moded every part of the AMP. Certain slash rear axles fit. I have Hot racing ones on mine but they are hard to find. If you have any questions hut me with a DM.

Hey, if that's the case - can you link the proper GPM ones that would work with Amp MT? Or a legit source to buy Hot Racing ones?
Thank you!

You won't need really need diff grease. I just put regular marine grease in mine. Makes no difference. Just tighten the slipper up. I hD fast eddy bearings only lasted me a few months. But I run brushless 3S. I've even had to upgrade the rear hub carriers to a larger bearing diameter because i kept throwing bearing. Don't buy a 12T motor if your getting a brushless kit. And if you can afford a reciever /transmitter with the AVC. that's stuff is pretty sweet. Also don't waste your money on those plastic hexes. They are the same thing already on your rig. They make metal ones. You probably won't need them. Everything else looks good. I love JConcets. My body wheels and tires are from them. Great customer support. If you poke through my media you may be able to see some pictures of stuff. Or Just DM me. I'm trying to find front HEX shafts as I snapped one a few weeks back and have been down and out since.

Hey Bud,

Thanks for all the advice, also, the brushed kit will go into my RedCat Everest-10 Crawler once I throw the brushless into the Amp MT.
Should I just run the factor bearings until shot and then the Eddies until they're shot?

Thanks!

Good stuff just didn't want to see you end up with something not needed. My advice is run and break srock stuff and then replace. I mean u could even order a metal spur gear. 87T 48P is what you want. Id run all ur stock gears till they die then swap out.

Performed the Servo + RPM Servo Saver Upgrade and boy is the handling upgrade night and day! :)

Yeah, but sadly it showed me how badly I really want to change all the screws to hex heads already...-_-

I have that same servo, and at first I thought they were great, and would recommend them. But I have since broken 3 in the last couple years, but I drive em hard, on 2.8s. They are cheap, so for the price and performance I still run em. Just don't expect it to last forever.

Good to know as I typically run mine hard too, I also use the Tower Pro MG996R ones in my Redcaat E-10 Crawler and I do believe they'd fit in the Amp MT too?

Does anyone have any info on these??
