Can I use a lipo battery on my ecx ruckus 1/18 4x4 truck without changing any other parts

yes you can,just make sure you run a voltage monitor with alarm for the lipo, the esc/rx dosen't have a lipo setting built in

I’ve been reading a lot about lipos the good and the bad I don’t want to damage my rc so that info helps thanks

Lipos aren't all that bad aside from the false marketing that goes into them. 99.999999999999999% of the time if a lipo starts on fire it will do so while charging or while it is being used.

Yes I use a 1300mah 2s lipo with no other modifications. Adds lots of speed no problems.
