motor upgrade, tazer 280

so I ordered up the tazer 280 to give this thing some more speed while going from obstacle to obstacle. Does this make crawling worse? am I going to have problems going slower while going over obstacles? is there a pinion I can buy when i get the motor so I don't have to grind down the shaft on the motor? Should I drop to a lesser toothed pinion?

Well I went to go install it and my Allen wrench broke off in the set screw. So I guess I'll take the motor back. Pretty disappointed. Also though the stock motor has a d shaped shaft, the 280 was round

Hi to all,
I have the Tazer 280 with a XCar45 ESC whit Excelent low end torque and a very good speed using the std pinion. Grind down the shaft is very easy while motor running!

Yeah when I went sensorless brushless (a mistake) I couldn't for the life of me get the stock pinion off. Luckily my LHS had some more pinions in stock.
