SCX10 skid on ECX Barrage 1.9?

I just ordered my 1.9 ECX Barrage and I'm considering several mods. One of which is using an AX/SCX style trans I have so I can use a full size motor. Since I don't have the vehicle in my hands yet, I'm hoping someone can tell me if an Axial SCX10 skid plate will fit the Barrage?

I've seen modifications where guys just drill the ECX skid to accept the AX/SCX style trans, but I think it would be cleaner to use an SCX skid if it will fit.
