speeding up but not going brushless

I'll echo the recommendations made by @kruzracing169
The easiest changes can be made by going up 2-4 teeth on the pinion gear. Next you can install a smaller spur (starting with 4 teeth smaller and then maybe 8 or 10 teeth smaller).

But DO keep an eye on motor temperatures. That 15t motor is pushing around so much weight already that it'll be easily taxed by altering the gearing too high.

You can do the "touch test": if you can't hold your finger to the motor for four seconds without it hurting/burning then the motor is too hot. The BETTER way is to buy an inexpensive infrared non-contact thermometer at your local hardware store. Motor temps in excess of 180 deg F (82 deg C) are in the "danger zone." If you can't drive for more than 10 minutes without the motor breaking 180 then you're geared too high.

I just want to leave this here........4779
Side note;
45 minutes of non-stop running on a track, I do not recommend it. Haha.......signs of just having fun and pushing it to the limits.
