Try the barrage Doomsday drive shafts I too am running 3s lipo and also doomsday 390 motor and having no trouble with the drive shaft so far which are a lot bigger than the stock Gen 2 drive shafts

No problems installing the other motor same diameter just longer

Have you looked in to mip? I dont know if they have a driveshaft for your car but they are bulletproof. Im using them in my amp mt ant they are solid
