Hi,
I have been using some 300 Team associated silicon oil and my damper function isn't great, it seems a little wooden, but it isn't letting by.

Is silicon oil suitable for the stock shock seals or should I be using mineral?

This is on a Torment(4WD) and a Ruckus(2WD)

I just went to the LHS and asked them for their highest recommend brand shock oil but at the weights I wanted to run. ( 30 FR / 35 RR ). It is a silicone oil with a 350 CsT. From Factory Team.

pretty much what I have then?

On the traxxas aftermarket big bore I just purchased I noticed the inside plunger only has 1 breather hole in it for fluid to go through. I am thinking of pulling them out and making them a 3 hole plunger with a dremel. but yea i believe what we got is it unless you want to do some trial and error methods or research deeper into this via forums and youtube
