A member of KCRC in Kansas City..doing modifications , helping create a comp. class to fill the void of the Losi predecessor of yesteryear ........Tires 4.45 BoomRacing Hustlers mtx on steel bead locks.....Lipo battery, with 2 different connector options.... New "DinkyRC" servo battery mounting plate, and steering link, tucked out of the way under that plate.......Its getting there..........
I think the lugs down the center of the stock tires are to big and close together....

The drive shaft stiffener....super glue it in...IMG_20190819_184012.webp.
I got .078 wire to fit into these drive shafts

Nice rig, what is that like an 800mah pack? My buddy just put a losi carbon battery plate on his gen 2 and is looking for batteries. Battery on axle works great, Ive been running that way for a couple years. Here is my gen 1. I use smaller 500mah packs

What's the length on those shocks is there any way I can talk you into taking a picture without the body on exactly where you mounted the shocks because I have a gen 1 and a Gen 2 and sometime in the future plan to get the Gen 1 back on the Road cuz I robbed some parts for my Gen 2 but I'd already upgraded Gen 1 with the wider axles. have you guys had any problems with spinning the axle shafts inside of the stock plastic bowler spool?

-Correct I am running gen 2 barrage axles/links and a barrage transmission/driveshafts with a Losi 1/18 motor. I've been meaning to bend the lower links, but it still works good.
-Sure I can snap a picture later. I drilled the holes where I mounted them. I'll post a link for them too, they Yeah Racing brand.
-Yes I blew out a rear spool, I just went to the Redcat Racing metal spools.

Relocated the electronics, mounted loosely to the upper links...then cut and reversed the tray they were mounted in....IMG_20190902_173656.webp

After all the mods so far...the video begins with it on a 50° degree angle..... The plywood beyond that is on a 45° .....all part of the textured crawler course I built....
