After a bit of reading seems at some point i can expect stock axles to fail, diff locker problems and such like, so what other make axles are people using on the temper gen 2

I already ordered the metal lockers to replace the stock when it arrives. Get the RedCat 1:16 part 68009 to swap them. Direct fit. Nice rig, bet it does pretty good on the rocks with that setup. What motor you runnin in that? I have a temper and i have the 380 traxxas motor in mine and I'm pretty sure it's gonna burn up soon, i ordered the 390 barrage motor but not sure what to expect out of that one quality wiseI have been running gen 2 axles for a couple years with the redcat differentials, it’s been stout. If you’re looking for axle assemblies I’d recommend the redcat racing gen7 portals. They’re about $90 for the pair. You’ll also need a $15 servo-on-axle/4 link mount from 1Tenth Rc. Also you’ll want traxxas rod ends or similar for the links. This is a gen 2 temper Dinky RC chassis with redcat portals I recently built
