I know it's kind of a niche vehicle, but I'm surprised there aren't more threads on it. I have two, and they've turned out to be great vehicles, and tougher than ECX's normal offerings. If you're debating, get it. You can't go wrong for the $350 price.

For a 1/10 scale the revenge would be fine. Though, at 1/8 scale it just doesn't cut it. Only being capable of 3s is extremely sub-par.

Not really when you figure in the prices. The Associated and Losi cars are hundreds more. I run mine at out local track, and it's easily the most durable car I own, which says a lot. You also need to look at it as an entry level 1/8 car, which is what it is, just like most of ECX's vehicles.

@yellowdatsun I agree with you in part as the ECX Revenge is a pretty nice buggy from what I've seen of it. In my opinion the buggy market has a ton of great options though, not just the more expensive options like Kyosho, Associated, or Losi, but even entry level. Take the Arrma Typhon, it's a heck of an entry level 1/8th scale buggy that comes brushless and able to handly 6s right out of the box for just a bit over $400.

I think ECX and Arrma-RC both are great options for anyone looking to get into a nice buggy without spending an arm and a leg while still being able to have a lot of fun.

Question, the stock E, motor mount. I see some mixed reviews on the stock mount. Are you able to put an 1/8th scale brushless sensored motor on it? I know the stock comes with an 1/10 scale motor. Also, is it durable, or should I just look at different conversion brand? I am converting my N style to E.
