    For Sale 1/10 Torment 2wd

I unexpectedly came across another short course truck, so I need to sell this one. I was going to upgrade and drive it but plans changed. It has scratches and scrapes, but nothing major. It comes with the stock Dynamite Tazer 15T esc, Dynamite 15T motor, and 325WP servo. It has an Axial AX-3...

Horizon discontinuing online sales of ECX

I don't think they are planning to drop ECX, just make it an in-store only brand. Hopefully some brick and mortar stores will make items available online in some way. Ebay may be the best source of parts if you don't have a local store.

Horizon discontinuing online sales of ECX

Unless Aarma brings back their 2wd mega line, Horizon won't have an entry level brand online to compete with Traxxas. I would guess they have something coming out soon.

    Why why why

I'm sorry if my comment came off as an attack on you, that's what I meant to do. You may have been exaggerating about the house comment, but it is one that comes up. I was just trying to make that point so others that are reading may find it useful. Sorry if I offended anyone, that wasn't my...

Horizon discontinuing online sales of ECX

This is part of their new plan after buying Hobbico. There is no hobby store in my county and I can't drive for health reasons. I may have to switch t another brand, and not because I want to :( Like it or not, online sales are the realty. This move just cuts out customers that don't have an lhs...

    Why why why

One thing to remember is that those guys jumping houses are not using rc's that cost under $250. Most are 1/8th scale which is much stronger, and a $1000 car doesn't have to skimp on things to make it cost effective. That said, some of you seem to be having bad luck. So far I've driven my...

Thinking of buying a Torment 1/10 RTR 4WD

There is a new version with a more powerful motor. It doesn't come with a battery. It's another option to check out. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ECX-1-10-Torment-4WD-Short-Course-Truck-Brushed-RTR-Orange-Blue-ECX03243T1/192564055765?epid=13019285739&hash=item2cd5b64ed5:g:4LIAAOSwV0NbHLP4

How do I know if I have AVC?

The receiver in your car will say AVC on it. Which rx model does your car have?

I think I cooked my ESC...

Salt water is not good for electronics. I have seen it mentioned in the instructions on some waterproof electronics. Yours was already having issues so that may not be the reason, but I would suggest staying out of saltwater in the future. Also, sometimes they work after letting the electronics...

    Want to go brushless...

If you have the stock pinion you will want a 3650 motor, the 3660's have 5mm shaft so you would need 5mm pinion gears. The GoolRC F540's are a 380 rotor in a 540 can. They work great, they just won't have as much torque as a regular 540. That may be a good thing depending on how you want to...

    Combo decision

Why would the esc amp rating make the motor more powerful? I'm just asking because I'd like to know, not because I think you're wrong. The second 2 motors use a 5mm shaft, so you would have to get 5mm pinion gears.

    Broken motor shaft

Send an e-mail to Horizon and see if they have spare rotors. With racing motors you can change out rotors, so maybe they sell(or warranty) replacements for that motor.

    ECX Ruckus 2wd steering dilemna...

One way to check your AVC is to hold your car up and move the back end left and right. If you're transmitter is sitting with the wheel straight, your front wheels will stay in the direction you started in. A re-bind is quick and easy, so you may as well do it just in case.

    ECX Ruckus 2wd steering dilemna...

When you come off of the throttle, do the wheels lock up causing it to turn(slide) to the side? It might be the drag brake setting. Which AVC receiver do you have? I know that mine is a 4 channel receiver, but AVC won't work if you have more than 2 channels used.

Help understanding servo and servo saver

Isn't the stock servo 25t? If so, you just use the servo horn that's attached to your stock servo.
