The upgraded one has a Dynamite Tazer Twin 2-in1 Brushless setup. Runs good. Now to upgrade gearing, axles, shocks, and a servo eliminator.

Are you running a Lipo? I installed a Kinexis 3000 kv brushless combo with new (seperate) ESC in my AMP DB but have not switched to Lipo yet. hows yours run?

I run it on a 2s Lipo 5200mah Hard Pack battery. It wheelies pretty good. Its way faster than a brushed nimh setup. Good enough to have to upgrade all the gears like the trans, spur, & pinion depending on what kind of tires I get. Get the lipo but make sure you get a decent balance charger and set your esc so it has a low voltage cutoff so it doesn't damage the battery. Make sure you place the battery at a storage voltage when not in use. 3.80v - 3.85v is typically a good storage voltage per cell. Get a lipo storage/charging bag.

Just upgraded to metal trans gears, added a heat sink/fan, and changed out the rear fixed links to adjustable camber turnbuckles. After work I will change out the front fixed links and steering links to adjustable camber turnbuckles.

Yes, i did all metal trans and metal axles, instead of wheelies it just sat there and spun so i got rear dynamite vulchers, traction is def. better in the grass still spins on cement. and that's with 3300 nimh. And yes ive heard a protection bag is a necessity along with a good charger.
