Anyone else find the rear shock tower is damaging the shell on the MT?

I'm thinking of putting shoe goo and dry wall tape on the areas of the shell but concerned that it'll raid the back too much and I won't be able to get the rear mount clips in place as they already are a bit of a struggle...

Anyone else tried anything with this?

Mine has two layers of duct tape on the underside of the body to prevent cracking. It is dented to hell though.

Oh good, it' not just me then, I was wondering if I had done something wrong whilst building it (now idea what it could have been that was wrong mind...lol)

We reinforced ours with Gorilla duct tape and then put a strip of foam camper top gasket over each tower contact point. Wish we had done that from the start, the bodies would have lasted way longer.

My amp got cracked because of that problem, is it a KIT problem? I got the amp kit, maybe I screwed it on wrong? I had to put tape on my body, which made it ugly, I am open to any bodies that fit.

You did not screw up, that is just how it is. The body is quite thin and it simply wears out in that spot.
