I'm buying my wife a amp Mt truck. just wondering how well they run with the 12 t Titan and lipo 2s.I have the Traxxas xl5 esc and I have a redcat tx rx

The 12t Titan motors have a pretty poor reputation for durability/lifespan. 20T motor that comes with the AMP is pretty perky with a 20T pinion and a 2S LiPo battery. Since the stock ESC/Rx doesn't have low-voltage cutoff or alarm, you'll need to buy one to safely run a LiPo battery.

If you want a bigger/faster brushed motor, I'd recommend the Dynamite 15t 550 brushed motor. I had one in my AMP paired with a 20t pinion and LiPo for a while. It was a lot of fun and plenty fast. The 550 length motor will provide a bit more torque than a 540 length.

I've since turned my AMP into a Circuit and installed all new electronics.

Thanks I was just going to run that motor cause I already have those parts I trashed to transmission in my evader and pulled all my parts. But next month I'm going brushless in my torment and maybe the amp if the wife is ready
