Hello everybody I have had this amp mt for 3 or 4 years now I am fourteen and with online school till 12 i have some more time n my hands so I would like to get this truck upgraded before this summer or or spring. Comment if you have any suggestions. I will attach a pic of my rc truck in a little bit.

Hey man, I have and amp desert buggy that I put a brushless system in. I bought it on Banggood.com, it's a surpass Hobby 4370kv motor it comes with the brushless motor and ESC it was around $35. You could even go a little lower on the KV and would be fine I bought a 3300 KV of the same system for my ECX Ruckus and it screws! After going brushless you would need the metal transmission gear and differential gear set which is around $30. Also we would have to upgrade 2 a hardened steel spur gear and pinion gear. I also got a dumbo RC transmitter and receiver from there as well which has amazing range and nice response that was around $30. Oh yeah and also 2s LiPo battery is a nice upgrade as well and you would need that if you go brushless.

Thanks, man I bought a new truck recently because I talked to my local hobby shop and they let me know that if I do any lipo stuff to it that it will break... So I went with the Arrma Senton 4x4 because it's more durable and its easier to upgrade and no worrying about if I'm going to break the truck... Thank you though.

Hello, just fabricated a better and stronger spoiler for my Trxxas Bandit. Made all the mounting hardware out of 2x3x1/8 flat bar and 3/4×3/4×1/16 angle. The spoiler is made out of 1/8 ×2×5 malleable plastic. Much, much better then the stock flimsy spoiler that comes with the Bandit.

The Arrma is a great truck but they are wrong, I have a Banggood 120a ESC and 3,300kv motor in my Amp MT and run on 3S with no proble,s. Metal gear set but plastic spur and I haven’t shredded one yet. Set your slipper properly and you’ll be fine. I ran 2S LiPo on a stock truck all summer with no issues.

Hello, Lepthturn is right, you're Hobby Shop is wrong. You can do many upgrades to your Amp, big or small and it wont break, unless you purposely run it into a curb at full throttle. Yea you probably will break something. There's little things you can do to upgrade and bigger upgrades you can do.
Below is one of my Amps totally upgraded to the max and I'm still looking to do some more upgrades to it. I do not baby this Mt., when out running, day or night, its at full bore. Wheelies, flips and tumbles, its like a Timex watch, it keeps on running. This Mt. has a high velocity fan mounted on the servo cover that keeps everything on the chassis cool and a high velocity fan on the motor to keep the heat down. You might call it over kill, I call it, heat prevention. As you do these type of upgrades, adding aluminum parts, bigger batteries and auxiliary batteries you add weight to the vehicle which will cause the motor having to work harder, which creates heat, hence the fans. At some point you might have to upgrade to a higher KV motor.
Point being, start small, bigger tires, 2S LiPo, maybe some turn buckles and see how things go. The Arrma Senton is a great 4x4, I have one myself and so far the only upgrade I've done to it is, bigger tires, Led lights and high velocity fans.
