First night out with my brushless ruckus. Took it easy on the truck, jumped a little rut in my driveway and landed on back bumper, wasnt a hard hit at all but managed to crack the plastic plate that covers the motor. In my manual its item 3 which is ecx2011 cover and rear mount set. Ive found it on ebay but it doesn't show pics of the 3rd part....the part I need.

Anyone know if this ecx2011 set includes the piece I need?
Any aluminum upgrade?
Amazed by the brushless ruckus sofar but surprised this broke from a tiny jump.

It looks more like you need part #25 ECX1021, and maybe even part #47 ECX2013. The part number you have is on the front of the truck that covers the receiver and steering servo.

I need the grey skid plate, its item 3 in my manual and says I need ecx2011

I attatched a pic of ecx2011 set. The piece I need is the third one. The one I ordered on ebay doesn't show the third piece though in the pic....arggggg

I did order 2013 as well.... I now found all the skid plates (ecx2007) .... looks like it comes with the same rear skid plate as ecx2011

Heres the pic of the ecx2011 set I ordered. It doesn't show the skid plate but since ecx2011 includes a skid plate...im hoping its in there.

maybee I should just order the ecx2007 skid plates to be sure :(

Strange. I'm looking at the digital copy of the manual, it says its part number ECX1025. Apparently it's wrong. The number you have(ECX2011) looks to be the right one.

Whats up with all the ecx part sets?
seems like you can look up a part number and theres different sets with same part number

I ordered ecx2011, ecx2013, and ecx2007. Hopefully its in there somewhere lol.

any other parts I should have onhand for the brushless ruckus??

my lhs doesn't carry ecx :(

I think you'll be covered with what you've ordered. The Ruckus is a pretty tough rig, I haven't had mind all that long so I'm not up to speed on what the weak points are yet. Was it cold outside when you broke the transmount plate?

It was 37 degrees last night when I was running it. I debated myself on if I wanted to run it in the cold due to plastic being brittle in the cold but figured 37 degrees wasnt too cold.
we had a bit of snow left that didn't melt and I think I probably just smacked the the edge of the concrete driveway going fast since it was covered in snow and dark out. Im sure it was my fault.

37 isn't too bad, but still I can help but think that it was a contributing factor to the breakage.

btw, if you upgrade or replace the steering arms be sure to get some extra shoulder screws and some locktite because they will back out and go missing.

spare parts you say?

get one of everything!
