Can i run a 2s on my 1/24 barrage ECX10014/ECS/Rx

I deiced to swap out connectors so I could share batteries with my scx24, then burnt out the motor immediately. Can this setup run a 2s battery?

I deiced to swap out connectors so I could share batteries with my scx24, then burnt out the motor immediately. Can this setup run a 2s battery?

7.4V (2S) is ~55% step up in voltage over the stock battery. I very much doubt the ESC or motor would last long before the magic smoke is released.
