Differential Locker Spool

Has anyone tryed out the Differential Locker Spool from hot racing in their 2ed ruckus?

Probably not a good idea it will make the truck handle badly. I would only use a spool for drag racing, but it will cause driveshafts you break easier. I’ve seen people put silicone earplugs or really thing diff fluid in the diffs to get better straight like acceleration on pavement. Otherwise it’s useless and will end up causing more headaches.

Well that was sort of my plan I've been into arrma stuff for awhile but I'm trying to pick up a cheap ecx ruckus/amp/circut on ebay to do some speed runs. I have a 4300kv motor and 4s capable esc to drop in , was gonna get the metal diff set and some cvd drive shafts from ebay also a 81t spur from hot racing

Try tightening the slipper all the way, should be the same effect ??

I opened up my differential and packed it with silly putty... still breaks loose when it must, but does awesome off road... also broke the rear axle a few days after doing this lol
