Doomsday crawler on redcat portals

Reviving this section a little with my doomsday setup. I scored one of the $100 doomsday barrage’s from my LHS earlier this year when the went discontinued. Redcat portals are a nice upgrade for a barrage to anyone interested. If you do, get an on-axle servo mount. Still finding the right shock and tire setup. Don’t mind the missing beadlock screws.

What size wheel and tire combo are you running?

Sorry haven't been on here lately. Those are 1.9 Yeah Racing Tires. They're not very good on rocks the rubber compound is crappy, but they were only $10 a pair from my LHS. Proline's are the way to go especially the new predator compound. The wheels are 1.9 Axial Beadlocks.

How does it do with the 390 motor?

It works good. I'm not a fan of these stock ECX speed controllers, it would benefit with a nicer esc. I'd like to get a hobbywing 1080 in it. I love that controller.
