Hi guys
My son has finally broken the hub side of the driveshaft on one side.
Do I just replace the drive coupling in the hub or the whole uni joint. ? Are there aftermarket that fit perfectly that are stronger for a AMP Buggy? Many thanks

I broke the same thing a couple months back on my amp buggy. I went with the Hot Racing metal driveshaft kit and they have held up great so far. Haven’t had it out for any serious bashing yet but the factory plastic ones broke from driving in my back yard and drag racing down the street. All metal upgrades definitely the way to go! If you haven’t yet you may also want to look into the full metal transmission for the AMP buggy!

Mine were ok with a 3000kv brushless on short grass, dirt, sand, and pavement but I upped my motor to a 3600kv and was running in longer grass with oversized ruckus tires on my amp buggy and TADA plastic pieces everywhere!?.

So with that said it really depends on your driving style and conditions you drive in.
