ecx amp question

Hello, I have a 4-5 year old ECX AMP Desert Buggy. I have purchased and installed a new V4 receiver (ecx13010) and also a new V4 radio system (ecx13008) and successfully paired the two.
I have full throttle control but no steering control.
The steering servo is the original Horizon Hobby Spectrum S607, and is functioning correctly
Do I need to update the steering servo to match the other V4 parts?

How do you know the servo is functioning correctly ?

hi thanks for your message.
I also have the same model Ecx amp monster truck this is still functioning with the original servo, receiver and radio set and when I plugged the buggy into the servo output of the truck it steered no problems.
I have subsequently received an email from horizon suggesting I purchase a new digital servo Which I have ordered. If this fails I BFF assume it’s a faulty Handset or receiver, even though they are new.
