ECX Barrage 1/24 esc... what's the purpose of third wire?

Do someone knows how to use the third wire on the esc of the 1/24 Barrage? Is it for backlight or something else?

*Only two wires..makes it pretty evident..I would assume that its for LED on body.
*Check the voltage with a voltmeter when model is ON...should be 6 volts.

The two front LED are wired trough an other pair of wire but You're right, there are 6 volt when on.
I don't know what milliamp can come out of the Esc from this wire?

I didn’t notice an extra wire on mine. I’ll have to look.

It is used on the Doomsday for the lights
