Help!

Just bought a ecx ruckus smaller brawler yesterday charged the battery for 9 hours as the guide says and took it out after about 20 mins its gets real hot and starts beep with a slight pause in between then i let it cool down and tried again and after about 2 to 3 mins of running power slows down and it stops and beeping starts again this is my first one and i would think the battery is low but i charged it for the full 9 hrs can someone tell me anything about this please

The stock batteries will only give you about 15-25 minutes of run time. It getting hot might have to do with the surface you drive on. Driving in grass will cause you esc and motor to get hot quickly, and the battery will die faster.
