Hingepin

Hi there,
Bought a Ruckus for Christmas (as a little present from my wife) and also a ftx tracer (Santa gift) for my son. The Tracer is standing the test of my son but the ECX is causing me headaches and it’s only been open since December 25th 2020.
Just new to this whole world of RC Monster trucks but ive always been a fan since being a kid myself, so I've been submersing myself in YouTube vids, reviews and enjoying 1:18 & 1:16 scale of the Ruckus & ftx (hailboxing).
So my problem is I thought my son unscrewed my hingepin one day and then I lost it out using it.
I ordered the replacement pin set. When I went to install it today I realised that I didn’t lose my last pin, it snapped off, leaving the top thread part still screwed in inside the front transmission plate.
I’ve no idea how I could remove this now??
Do I have to replace the front transmission assembled?

I’m thinking superglue to the tip of the new hingepin and try make a connection, set and hopefully unscrew old tip!!?

So the glue didn’t work..!
I’m realising that this hingepin screws into the base at the steering end..
I need a new base or drill it out and hope for the best?

Okay, good results. Got the remaining part of the last hingepin out, added Ultra Araldite into the thread hole and popped in new hingepin. I’ll allow it to set for the night..!
