I sold my Amp and Ruckus before remembering to take pictures of how to fix the most annoying flaw of ECX cars, the bottom hub screw that keeps unscrewing itself.

Basically, using a Dremel, I drilled a hole to be able to do like on that picture and use a grub screw (like the tkr1601 shown here, it's where I got the inspiration).
That was months ago, and it held, on worn out hubs.
You need tiny weeny grub screws, but hey, no more lost screws.
 
That's a good way to go. I bought aluminium hubs and used locktight on mine. My son's is still oem plastic, might do this and save the 20 bucks
 
The steering bushings (I used some from a Redcat Volcano) and some 3mm bolts it will hold as long as it's not already stripped. The screws come loose and don't bite much thread into the plastic that's the problem with stock plastic and shoulder screws.
