Looking for battery upgrade for ECX Ruckus

Hi everyone, in New Zealand there seems to be a very limited supply of batteries, the 7.2v 1800mah battery in my sons truck lasts a few minutes only so I was going to get a 7.2v 6500mah battery from a local supplier, would this be ok to put in the truck with no problems ?

With Lipos make sure LVC is on.

If you go up in power and longer run times you also go up in heat and could risk burning up your motor. If your motor is running hot you might have to gear down (smaller pinion).

Do you have a nimh or a lipo? 7.2v is a nimh, 7.4v is a lipo two different kinds of batteries if its a lipo you need a lipo charger and set the jumper on the esc to lipo.
