Metal gears replacement

I just replaced the metal gears in my AMP MT but now have a clicking sound at acceleration and when idling to a stop. Do the metal gears usually make this sound? I read they are louder than the plastic stock ones, but the clicking sound is pretty obvious.

Sounds like a spur gear - pull it apart and look. How is the gear mesh set?

Also make sure you greased that diff before you closed it back up. Dont be scared to put it on thick.
