Both of mine are programmable and I can set 50% brake or 100% but on 100% and the motor you have it could flip cause it stops very fast

Thanks for the video dmill - my 280 is on order and it seems from that clip that the speed increase is significant.
Now onto the next one - I'm not thrilled with my servo function with my new tires. Do you have stock servo or did you upgrade that as well? Noticed per online specs your tires are actually larger than my flat irons so I was wondering what your thoughts were?

Scratch that - just realized I was looking at the original flat irons - the XLs are 121mm tall - I need a stronger/better servo.

only thing im not fond of with my new esc is the brake. have to double tap to reverse, great for holding in possition though

I have that same ESC, and that's my only problem with it as well. Tazer 280 should be arriving shortly!

I don't think it'll b a problem. my motor barely warms up when I'm running mine. I would just keep an eye on motor temp the 1st couple times.

Just installed my tazor 280 and I'm beyond pleased with it. Much more speed and torque

How are u all setting the gear mesh and are you filing down the splines

Yes file down the splines. I just eyeballed my gear mesh

Did you just use the bullet connectors from the original motor on the new install?

I have a tazer esc so the matched up but you can use the original connectors
