Need help

My son has ruckus 4x4. When we turn it on the car will go forward for about two to three seconds then stop. The car will not respond to the throttle, but will respond to the steering from the remote. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Check the slipper clutch

I brought it in to a local hobby store. The computer had reverted to a different battery type setting. When they plugged it into their computer, they noticed it immediately and changed the setting. It works great now. Is it okay to say their name as they did not charge me anything to fix it?
