New 2wd Torment - anybody know what these parts are?

just got a Torment 2wd brushed and there are these small plastic window like pieces that came with it in the box. No reference to them in the manual and I can't figure out what they're for. Anybody? Also, for breaking in the motor, is one battery cycle enough? Anybody else have to adjust the body height a bit? Seems like even if I put the pins all the way up the front wheels still might be rubbing the hubs on tight turns.

10 minutes at a low to mid throttle setting is good enough to break in the motor brushes. The motors are cheap and you can do more (like employing the "water immersion" method) but the returns on extensive break-in are rather small.
