New servo works, just not in my amp.

So my stock servo bit the dust in my amp. I contacted HH by phone and they replaced it few of charge. The one that came out was a s670 on the servo. The new one is a s6170, after taking the whole front end apart to get the old one out the new one does nothing. I’m wondering if the new one is the right servo? Also I know the servo works, I connected it to my sons ruckus and it works fine but when connected to the amp it does nothing. The truck will still move forward and in reverse it just has now steering. Any and all help would be great!

Esc is bad just replaced one the other day with the same issue and was told when the servo goes out usually the esc is bad too

That sucks, I was hoping it was going to be a low cost fix.

If I had the money I would just go ahead and get a better esc and whatever transmitter I liked instead of buying the combo esc that comes with it.
