New Truck Carnage

Hello All. Playing with a new truck yesterday and seem to have popped out the left rear drive shaft to the wheel. Interestingly there's 2 lugs on the bit coming out of the drive thing that go into holes on the shaft that have not broken. I am assuming that there may be some way to get these back in their receiver without snapping them, so i'm being cautious. The attached photo shows the intact lugs on the drive part and the non-broken shaft next to it. Please forgive my descriptions. Anyone got any ideas? i'd be very grateful for any advice. Cheers.

further to the above, ive pulled down a bit further to make it easier to get to and see.

well one side has longer locating pin than the other, so just fitted long side and bent over the short and job done.
