rc keeps loosing connection

i have the AMP MT 2WD Monster Truck Brushed RTR rc car and my car keeps on loosing signal while im using it. it will just stop moving then it will re connect and work fine again and i keep having this problem. i have run it with the body of it off and noticed when it stops the little red light starts blinking like it dose when its connecting to the controller dose anyone know whats happening

Not fully charged battery? Bad battery? Your obviously not having a loose connection, because you still have power.
How old is RC?
How long is it ran before doing this?
What type of battery?

Are you running the stock battery or a 7.4 LiPo? If the ESC is set for a NiCad and you are running a LiPo the vehicle will act exactly the way you have demonstrated. If you are going to run LiPo (7.4/12 volts) the ESC must be set for LiPo via a jumper on the ESC. The same goes if you run the stock battery (NiCad 7.4/12 volt), otherwise the vehicle will run exactly as you explained.
