So had a mixed feeling about this truck although I really do like it. So far a lot has broke and a lot I expected I do feel its at the stage of a good reliable brasher now so thought I’d let everybody on here know what I’ve done and anything else anyone recommends
so far the truck has
rpm front a arms
rpm servo saver bell crank eliminator
ds3225 25kg servo
aluminium servo arm
sealed bearings rear and front wheel carriers
traxxas wheelie bar
mip 10130 slash/rustler axles
turbo racing 4 channel transmitter and receiver
Tamiya cva oil in front shocks
heavy old Losi shock oil in rear with a large clip
clamp motor fan with temperature sensor
corally body clip retainers
I run the car on either a sunpadow 50c 2s or a volts 50c 2s
caught a stroke of luck this being the brushless ruckus it has metal gears already and this is a later model as it came with the esc fan

ive left the steering links plastic as on impact they pop off and I’d prefer pop off to bend or break although the more the pop off the looser the caps end up getting. I am waiting for some turnbuckles for the front traxxas 3644 is the code you can also buy them in a nice colour and a bit beefier but defiantly not worth the price for this truck I’m not looking for flashy I’m looking for reliability at a reasonable price. Now in my last post I said the shocks aren’t that bad well turns out I was maybe talking absolute sh£&#. They leak no matter how you rebuild them and they may not at first but couple runs and theres that all to familiar shiny a arm right about where the shock attaches. They do hold up if you wanna rebuild them pretty much every time you use the car but even them they’re nothing to get excited about. Anyone have any budget options here or a reasonably priced set of shocks. I’ve done a little research here but any recommendations for this truck or chassis ? Also it runs hot hot on 2s I do put a 50c battery on it but that’s not all that much. I’ve added a cheap fan off Amazon came with a nice aluminium clamp and a 30x30 fan. I’m yet to test this but if the fan isn’t good it’s a 30x30 clamp so can always add a better fan. It runs on a temperature sensor that turns on at 40c I can vouch for it turning on I did check it powered on when warm. With having not a lot of space on the motor heat sinks are not very common on these from my knowledge so I did what I thought might help although it may do absolutely nothing to help with running temps.

my next things to do with this truck is purely aesthetics and a few security mods lol. I’d like to put some new wheels and tyre on it I don’t knock these standard wheels and tyres cause they’re not that bad but it is rather happy spinning a wheel resulting in premature tyre wear. duratrax offer a good line of 2.8 wheels and tyre combos particularly appealing are the six packs and the hatchets. Any one got either and got a review of them hex wise How easy do they strip Lol.
I found the stock spectrum transmitter rather short of range so I added the turbo racing p52 combo and it’s not failed me yet also has 15 model memory all trims and reverse all channels gyro setting if you have one.exponential adjustment 3rd channel on and off 4 channel 3 stage switch for winch ect. It was 35 pound. it’s abit of a faf but once you’ve worked it out it’s easy enough to use and it saves all settings so your only gunna have to set up things once.

also I want to get a body for it at some point any one know what kind truggy shell I could get to fit or possibly a big rock as they do look good.
thanks for reading my usual rc drool guys I’ve put some pics for anyone to see how I’ve set up the fan
