Saying Hi with my Ruckus

Been lurking here long enough and figured it’s a good time to introduce myself and my Ruckus. Been a nitro guys for years but took a few years off until my 11 year old daughter recently took an interest to an old Mini-T I had laying around and the rest was like history all over again. Keeping one nitro truck maintained is enough work all by itself so rather than getting 2 nitro trucks we picked up a couple of electrics - my Ruckus and her Arrma Granite, both used Craigslist trucks. I’ve since upgraded or modified just about everything on the Ruckus and we just started tearing into the Granite the other day.

Here’s my Ruckus build:

It still handles like a top heavy MT but it’s pretty unique around my way. Hope you guys like it, tell me what you think.

Top notch. I’m jealous. I’m more reactive in my upgrades. I wait till it breaks. Ruckus, well they are made pretty good cause I’m only half way thru that list

Thanks. That’s usually the way I go too but these parts were so cheap that I turned a full overhaul into a winter project. Now if it would only stop snowing in New England ...

I hear that!! I cleared a lane in my basement so I can do some 40 foot test runs!!!! I’m in western ma, looks like we’re gearin for some more snow Wednesday! Think I may splurge for the front wheel skis for the ruckus next winter

I'm thinking of getting those shocks for the front of my truck since I'm having problems. My truck is a bit heavier then stock, it has brushless, 100% steel gears (transmission and spur gear and pinion)
Plastic stock driveshafts, Losi 22s rear links and hot racing servo saver. Would those work well for me and if so what weight should i use?
