Servo Problem

I just replaced the old servo, with a Flash Hobby M200HW. Seems the servo is too large and keeps the servo horn and saver for turning freely. They touch. Should I buy a different servo? Can I salvage with a different horn/saver?

Running a LiPo 7.4v battery.

This is just a guess, because I haven't messed with my AMP much, looks like the servo is mounted wrong? The servo gear and horn should be on the right side of the car, you currently have it on the left side of the car, that's seems to be why they are hitting each other?

I will say that servo horn is fairly beefy and doesn't leave much room.
The steering horn on the car doesn't hit the servo case does it?

That’s a pretty standard servo replacement size, it should fit fine. I agree with @WithinU based on the original owners manual you have the servo in backward. Horn on the passenger side.

I had to do some minor clearancing on both 2WD and 4WD to surrounding structures because of how beefy the new horn is. Nothing crazy, run it through its range of motion with the radio and take a little at a time. Seems this guy did too:

That makes sense. I didn’t think of switching it.
 
Your Servo is mounted upside down. The horn should be opposite of what it is in the picture now. Also the ball should be on the opposite side of the horn. Here is one of mine.

yep servo is in the wrong way, flip it over so the horn is on the right side of the truck/passenger side if you where really driving

As requested here are the pics. It appears the servo is too large. I’m not opposed to buying a new servo that fits better, or right. Just not sure which one. Any advice is appreciated

There is very little space in the AMP for the steering linkage. You have to use a servo with a low gearbox height above the mounting flanges, like my Etronix ES092 low cost 9kg model. You also need a horn with a small hub size otherwise the steering linkage hits the horn in the full right position. The photo shows how tight the clearance is.
