Should I buy this motor and remote/reciever??

Hi guys, just needed a little help figuring out what I'm going to do with my Rukus 4x4... I can get a used motor and esc for 150 Canadian (about 112 US)

Castle 1/8 brushless sidewinder 8th esc 2s-6s
Castle 1/8 brushless 2200kv motor

And I can get a Remote/Reciever for 50 dollar Canadian...

Spektrum dx3c remote
Sr410 reciver 4 channel
Sr201 reciver 2 channel

Do you guys think this is a good deal? and how do you think it would work in my truck?

Seems like a good deal. Will that motor fit in a rukus? It's definitely has enough torque for it. Wouldn't run anything higher then 3s on it, to keep broken parts to a minimum.

Great thanks for your help! Yes it fit into my truck and I was able to put the adjuster on the end of it so I could turn it to adjust the distance to my gear!! I have a question though..
Could you tell me what color cables on the motor goes into the holes on the esc in the correct order? is it black/white/red?

Just plug them in. Then switch only two around until proper power goes forward, not reverse.
