slipper clutch spring

hello,
I was wondering if i needed the spring on my slipper clutch? the threads up top are stripped

Without the spring it will either not slip (tightened all the way) or not grab (anything else). Either way, this will cause problems for your drive line.

Unfortunately I don't believe you can buy just the slipper shaft. You will have to get the whole slipper.
