Recently acquired a Temper Gen 2. So far I am really enjoying it. So far I did a few free mods.
> Moved shock mountings 1 hole down. It has more articulation now.
> Weighted all wheels by wrapping rims with solder wire. Stock wheel complete weighed in at 91 grams. After mod it weighed in at 146 grams.
Question: Is this weight of 146 gr too heavy?
I am having a hard time finding brass wheel hexes here in Canada.
> Routed antennae under hood so that it no longer flops about and gets bent when crawler tips over.
Question: What model of steering servo should I replace the stock one with and it does come with a new metal horn right. Really dislike the plastic one.
Question: How do I go about checking the grease in the diffs. I see there are 4 screws holding the cover on. What else needs to be removed. What grease is needed
for the diffs if its needed.
