Temper Gen 2. Rear Diff Issue

So I have had this gen 2 since new. Newbie to the crawling/scale side of RC, this is my first one. I've had bashers throughout the years. So I took the rig out on my log/crawling course and noticed that the left rear wheel under load doesn't turn? Before I start taking the axle apart ( I've done this before for maintenance ) any ideas on what this could be so I can get parts on order lil. Thanks for any help in advance.

Well upon further inspection. The center unit seems to be rounded out where the axle enters on the drivers side. Gears are all metal, wondering why the center section is plastic?? Now to find a upgraded set?? Hmmm

I feel this is probably due to just a faulty /wore out spool the plastic spool the axles go into was rounded so must have gotten into a bind.

I'm fairly new to this, and looking at Redcat Racing they don't show the Temper as being compatible (no ECX actually). The closest thing I see is this: https://www.redcatracing.com/products/68009?variant=30993604477018
Is there a way to verify that's compatible with the Temper Gen 2?

Sorry for late reply. If you're still wondering those spools will fit a gen 2 temper. I have gen 2 barrage axles (same axle as gen 2 temper) under my gen 1 temper and I have the redcat metal spools in both axles.
