Looks like some stones have got up in there and done some damage. Some of those are not just scratches, they're like a .5mm gouge.

Advice please...

Worth replacing? (I have a spare shaft)

Easiest method to do so? With that center brace / cover off, it looks like I could pretty much just take the whole front end off with about 3 more screws.

So it was actually 7 more screws.

No matter, I'm already infinity (ok 19) screws in at this point, what's 7 more.

That looks better. Not that anyone except me will ever see it.

Ensure both your center driveshaft front/rear hub endpoints are not dented where the dogbones pins connect. Check all teeth in your diffs too. This will avoid jump stress when spinning shafts and strain....
I run 2600kv 42x68 brushless 4S with 14T on my heavily upgraded modified 4x4 Torment in Arizona heat.

After burning out brushed next day and breaking so much stuff finally balanced allround power lol. my 2cc.

Replaced the spur gear yesterday. I never needed to take the front off eh... just pull the whole slipper assembly up and out.
