Looking to swap out the stock combo and get me a good radio and receiver. What's a good esc (prefer waterproof) that will suit the AMP? And also what amp is the stock esc? I did a quick search and found a hobbywing QuicRun 60amp brushed waterproof esc, you think that oNE would be good?

Went ahead and ordered the hobbywing 60 amp 1060 model. I like the idea of being able to move the pins for different programs too. My stock setup is working fine but I don't like the braking issue. It seems like when I hit the brakes it don't brake like it's supposed to and even in midair. My son's does the same thing so I highly doubt it's a setting. Also with this ESC I will be able to experiment with different Motors.

Speaking of different Motors can you guys suggest a faster motor than stock without changing gearing or will I have to change gear and when changing the motor speed/turns? Say a 15t for example. Or am I just setting myself up for other disasters in areas like tranny, axles, etc?
