I activated the gyro on my receiver (Hobbyking Trackstar drift model*) and it's awesome for loose ground conditions. With the stupidly overpowered brushless motor** I put in and the high grip tires the car wouldn't go straight at the local BMX track.
Now I can floor it and it just flies in a straight line. It's like magic.
*Note that for many other aspects that remote is terrible. It eats batteries and the manual / configuration is a nightmare. Had I known I would have gotten a Spektrum with AVC or something else.
** Again Hobbyking, Trackstar 80A ESC and 3520KV motor combo, which on the other hand is great. Fast, plenty of torque, stays cool (even with the 22 instead of 18 teeth pinion).
